Also known as "HELLO...IS IT ME YOU'RE LOOKING FOOOOOOOR?" and "Noiz cares not for sulfuric acid to the face".
Okay, let me be clear. Unlike the other reviews, I already watched the episode prior to writing this, so my thoughts will be more over the place. Spoilers and comparisons will be made, but they were be more vague and spread in-between. If you want a TL;DR version right now, I will say that it was good for what it has, though I think it could have been better if it did not try to stick to formula...more confused than depressed.
For one thing, I like how immediately after Noiz's route ended, Clear's automatically began, meaning that there could have been some interaction (which there were none, which made me sad). I also like that the animation for this episode, meaning that everyone who was working on this totally wanted to work on this and threw more of their heart and soul in this than in the previous episodes. Fights are smoother, water looks more realistic and faces do not look warped. Also, they finally said the taboo word "Sei".
So what else did I like? Honesty, the interaction between Clear and Aoba was a lot more innocent in this than in the game itself. I'm a little sad that they cut straight to the chase and threw the sulfuric acid right as the episode began. I kinda wanted a little more of the beginning in the game where Clear had the mask on. Maybe that's what confused me. Clear had the mask on for a good long while of the time in the game and they kinda just threw it off in the beginning so that we can all marvel on the glorious face that he has. And it is quite a marvelous face, I'll give you that.
What's interesting is what they had to change to complete Clear's "good route" basically. I remember when they mentioned the whole "safety mechanism" that Clear had in him to prevent him from punching the Alphas, I thought it was just a little strange for them to bring up. That was totally not in the game, like, at all. Though I like Clear's Scrap sequence, which was basically so benign that we didn't even get to look at it. Can you say Howl's Flying Fortress? That and the fact that the thing Clear requested from Aoba was not the ability to not die a virgin, but to finally call Aoba by his actual name, establishing that they are equals instead of master and servant. That was a very nice touch and I can see how that would make people very depressed. Heck, I would be sad if I did not know anything about the game at all. If this is how they're gonna do this in the Vita game, I would not argue at the least.
So what held me back from labeling this as the best episode ever? I think it's due to the formula that they had going on. Remember that they have to go through an entire route an episode, no way, no how, even if it would technically stop the story. Here, they had to kill Clear in order to end his route. The only problem here is that Clear is supposed to be in the True Route with the other guys, as he is there to calm Aoba enough to go into Scrap Mode, as seen in this image. Heck, I'm not even arguing against the fact that Clear had to die. I just didn't think he had to die now. He could've died at the end of the True Route once they left the tower. I mean, think about it, Aoba could be like "bwaaaaa, I lost Ren, Sly and I'm all alooooone. What could possibly make this worse???" and Clear can be like "welp, I'm dead" and Aoba can be like "NOOOOOOOOO" and we can all be like "NUUUUUUU" and we'd be run over by the Feels Wrecking Ball. It will also help convince me that Tae-san can fix up Clear and we'd all be dandy instead of, say, Noiz figuring it out.
I mean, I'm pretty sure we still need Clear. Unless you're trying to convince me that Noiz is going to spend his time fixing Clear. He might be smart enough, but I honestly don't even know at this point. You'll have to convince me otherwise.
In other news, hi Kouaku and Noiz. Nice to know that you're not playing boyfriend jenga on the bed there.

DRAMAtical Murder Anime Review
Well, I finally had time to collect my thoughts and think about this entire show as a whole, and now I think it's time for me to finally give a decent review about the show that I had followed since the beginning: DRAMAtical Murder, a show based off a BL visual novel released in 2012 and has since become the poster image of N+C (at least until we get the next game which will totally involve the main character being some kind of genetic experiment of some sort or maybe he can finally be blond or something). Since the game has become so popular that it spawned its own concert, it only became second nature to say that there would be an anime ba

Again, I am going to be reviewing this episode as I am watching it, so expect some broken segments dedicated to just talking. Also, you have to remember that this is the last episode of the series, so I will try my best to be as logical as I can. With that being said, let's begin.
We start off right where the last episode stopped with Ren biting Aoba's finger and him getting overwhelmed with memories. I'm sad that they weren't actually memories of him during his Rhyme days (I guess Mink's Route will hav

Also known as "Mink the Bara is granted a miracle", "Sei got more lines than in the damn game", and "the day Clear fans spontaneously exploded into tears". Or, as I personally call it, "the twenty minutes that I desperately wanted to take the two not-twins and burn them at the stake".
I am watching this episode as I am typing this review, so the thoughts will be set moment to moment, so let me begin by saying that I kinda wanted Aoba to see Sei while he was in the Tower and Aoba was holding onto Ren. It would've been pretty interesting, not to mention it'll show Aoba what Sei's power ended up being. It would've been cool, but whatever wor

I'm going to level with all of you here: I actually hesitated on watching this episode, and I have no idea why. I was all set to watch it on Sunday, and even had the tag on my page ready to load up and play. And yet...I held back. I don't know why I hesitated, because I knew full well that the thing that held me back in the game from watching most of his route wasn't going to be in here due to the PG rating. So here comes Monday morning, where I have steeled myself up to finally get this thing watched. And thank our
